Bloggin Basics ~ Show Your Blog Some Love

Regular, frequent loving, will keep your visitors happy and boost your blog’s ranking in search engines. Keeping people interested in your blog, whether it is a business or personal blog, is key to attracting a lot of regular visitors. Many blogs have died because visitors have just lost interest. The main reason for the lack of interest is the lack of frequently showing the blog some love by the blog owner.

You might be asking yourself, what is showing my blog some love?  How much loving should I give on a given week? How do I give frequent consistently good love? What are the reasons for me to love frequently?

The Money Is In The List

How many times have you heard, “The money’s in the list!” It seems impossible to browse an Internet Marketing forum or scan a list of “How To Make Easy Money” articles and ebooks without tripping over that phrase ten times. It happens to be 100% true.

Without a responsive, loyal list, you have no one to directly market to. You already know that, if you just send messages and ads blindly out into virtual space, nothing will happen. You do know that, don’t you?

Your solution to list building involves several steps that you can master and use to start building your own loyal list of customers. When you send emails out, marketing one of your products to your list, quite a few will buy that product. Over time, as more and more learn to trust your credibility, the ones who actually click the Buy Now button will grow.

Experiment With Your Google Ads Placement Is Everything

Experimenting is one of the best parts of the whole Google Adsense experience. No one else gets to make any decisions except you.  It’s your page.  You get to decide how many ( up to 3 ads per page), what colors and shapes you will use and where on the page the ad should go.  Should you place your ads at the top or bottom?  In the middle of the text?  To the left or right?

Try a few thing that you can try to grow your Google Adsense dollars:

Write fresh content and write it every day if you can.

Have more than one site.  The more sites you have, the more your Adsense ads have the potential to get clicked.

One of the most annoying things I can think of is spam comments. Several days ago I opened my email to find that I had over 250 comments posted to one of my blogs and more emails where coming! I knew that I was getting spammed, and hard.

Fortunately for bloggers, as spam comments have grown, so has the ways to prevent it. Here are a couple ways that you can prevent spam comments from even being posted on your blog, and even a way to keep the more persistent ones away from your site completely.

What is Social Networking?

Social networking is defined as the grouping of individuals together into to specific groups, often like small communities that communicate and share information. We all engage in social networking  in person, especially in school, at church or in the workplace,  but, without a doubt social networking is more popular online. Unlike most high schools, colleges, or workplaces, the Internet is filled with millions of individuals  from all over the world who are looking to develop friendships and relationships with other Internet users.
